It’s been a while. Four months is a long time, and it’s far too long for a gap between uploads. So where have I been?
The truth is, I started to be demotivated before I wrote the last Favourites post. I was far too pressured by the schedule I had set for myself, and mixed with the school schedule I was entering, it was near impossible for me to write another blog post. So, after writing the Favourites post, I kind of… gave up. I didn’t want to completely delete the blog, but I wanted to stop at where I was. I never wanted to write another post.
Then things cleared. I’m around 70% through the first year of school, and things have eased down. There’s less intense homework compared to the first half of school, and I think I could spare some time in my life to write some more posts on this blog. In other words, weekly posts!
Speaking of this blog, everything is going to change. I’m still going to keep the name, but I’ll be discontinuing the Favourites line of posts. I just don’t see the point. I’m going to mainly focus on NZMO, IMO and questions from the related areas, and giving a step-by-step process on how to solve them. This shouldn’t have much of an impact on the future, as solutions from the past papers are already released (I think), so I hope it will be okay. Also, I’m changing my WordPress username. It’s not my real name, but I like to think of it as one. Don’t freak out about that.
I’m open to any suggestions that you would like to share. If there are any, feel free to go to my contacts page or just write it in the comments.
Expect a post to come out within a week. Maybe.
